  • Coordination of event staff, rentals, design and set-up, through contracted services.
  • Provide catering staff service for local catering companies. 
  • Daily tasks: bookkeeping, marketing, sales, event research, account management, event management, personnel management. 

Event & Sales Coordinator | City Ferry | 2011 - Present

  • Apply strategic communications campaign utilizing low cost or in-kind marketing and communication opportunities. 
  • Maintain Oklahoma River Cruise's online presence via newsletters, event listings, and social media profiles.
  • Create an annual public event programming schedule and corresponding marketing & social media timeline.
  • Manage ticketing software for non-transit services, and charter booking software.
  • Daily tasks: master calendar management for three types of  services, charter account management, special event and charter coordination, customer service resolution, ticket website management, digital communications, customer service management. 

Executive Director | Oklahoma Venture Forum | 2014 - Present

  • Cut expenditures and improved member communications by implementing online membership software and website with streamlined event registration, sponsorship management, membership tracking and invoicing. 
  • Generated income by restructuring membership pricing and sponsorship levels.
  • Coordinate attendees, speakers, and vendors for monthly luncheons. Coordinate and manage networking events. Coordinate all external communications and event publications. 
  • Implemented membership expansion in 2020 to include all of Oklahoma territory. Offering hybrid event options for all events. 
  • Pivoted the OVF programming during the pandemic to provide digital event format that maintained the three core values of OVF Membership, quality content, networking, and venture investment opportunities.  
  • Daily tasks: bookkeeping and budget management, identify and recruit guest speakers, coordinate content for monthly newsletter, manage member communications, identify, and secure sponsors, conduct board meetings, manage vendors and staffing.

Facility Director | Montgomery Event Center | 2006 - 2011

  • Managed: 3000 sq. ft. event center, including the coordination of vendors, security, and staffing, marketing, interns, advertising, budget, and sales.
  • Planned and executed several hundred successful events hosting 150 to 500 people in a four year period.
  • Collaborated with individuals, small and large companies and non-profit foundations. Organized a variety of events including seminars, foundation celebrations, trade shows, and private events.
  • Montgomery Event Center experienced its highest occupancy during this time.
